Teal Mask Ogerpon ex
A grass starter that powers up the rest of the team while drawing cards.
What this card does
Teal Mask Ogerpon ex is a Basic Pokémon, so it needs no evolving and can be ready on the very first turn. Its main job is to speed the deck along. Each turn it lets a child attach an extra Grass Energy and draw a card, which keeps the hand full and the team charging up.
It can also attack. The more Energy is on the board, the harder it hits, so in a built-up game it turns into a real threat as well as a helper.
Teal Dance
Once during your turn, you may attach a Basic Grass Energy card from your hand to this Pokémon. If you attached Energy to a Pokémon in this way, draw a card.
Once a turn, Teal Dance lets you attach a Basic Grass Energy from your hand to this Pokémon, and if you do, you draw a card. That is two jobs in one: it powers up the board faster than normal and refills your hand. Players lean on it to set up big attackers a turn early.

This attack does 30 more damage for each Energy attached to both Active Pokémon.

It is the engine of the Ogerpon box deck and also a clean Grass-Energy starter for Raging Bolt ex, which needs lots of Energy fast.
