Latias ex
A simple support Pokémon that lets your whole team switch out for free.
What this card does
Latias ex is a Basic Pokémon with a quiet but very useful job. While it sits in play, every one of your Basic Pokémon can move out of the Active Spot without paying the usual Energy cost to retreat.
That sounds small, but it removes a constant tax on the deck. A child can freely shuffle attackers in and out to put the right Pokémon in front, then attack again straight away.
Skyliner
Your Basic Pokémon in play have no Retreat Cost.
Skyliner gives all your Basic Pokémon in play a Retreat Cost of zero. Normally a child must discard Energy to move a Pokémon out of the front, which wastes resources. With Latias ex down, switching is free, so the deck flows much more smoothly turn after turn.
