Zygarde
Rotated OutA versatile Dragon type that helps you recover resources during the game.
What this card does
It has 90 hit points and requires Grass energy to use its attacks.
The Shout of Power attack deals 20 damage and lets you move a basic Energy card from your discard pile to a Benched Pokemon.
The Speed Attack deals 70 damage but costs both Grass and Fighting energy.
Speed Attack
No game text. (70 damage)
The key feature is the first attack which recovers discarded energy. This helps keep other Pokemon in play without needing to search your deck for new cards.
Attacks
Attach a basic Energy card from your discard pile to 1 of your Benched Pokémon.
Which deck it belongs in
This card suits decks that rely on moving energy around rather than drawing many cards. It works well if your strategy involves keeping multiple Pokemon active on the bench.
- •Resource recovery
- •Bench support
- •Basic type
- •Low hit points
- •Specific energy needs
- •No extra effects on second attack
Use the first attack to keep your weaker Pokemon in play instead of focusing only on your strongest attacker.
Zygarde is said to be the embodiment of the Galar region's ecosystem and can change its form based on its environment.
Check if your child has enough Grass energy in their discard pile to make the first attack useful.
