Xurkitree-GX
Rotated OutA sturdy Lightning type that protects itself from special attackers and disrupts the opponent's hand.
What this card does
It stops damage from opponents using Special Energy cards.
Its Rumbling Wires attack discards a card from the opponent's deck.
Its Lighting-GX attack forces the opponent to reveal their hand and gives you one of their Prize cards.
Flashing Head
Prevent all damage done to this Pokémon by attacks from your opponent's Pokémon that have any Special Energy attached to them.
The Flashing Head ability makes Xurkitree-GX very hard to defeat if your child plays against decks that rely on Special Energy. This allows it to survive longer than most other Pokemon in the same situation.
Attacks
Discard the top card of your opponent's deck.
Your opponent reveals their hand. Add a card you find there to their Prize cards face down. (You can't use more than 1 GX attack in a game.)
Abilities

Which deck it belongs in
This card fits best in Lightning focused decks that want to control the game by removing cards from the opponent's deck or hand.
- •Strong defense
- •Hand disruption
- •Prize card advantage
- •Fighting weakness
- •One-time GX use
- •Requires Lightning energy
Use the Rumbling Wires attack early to thin out the opponent's deck before they can set up their strongest attacks.
Xurkitree is a Pokemon that resembles a bundle of electric cables and is said to have been created by lightning striking a tree.
Remind your child they can only use the Lighting-GX attack once per entire game, so they should choose the right moment carefully.
