What this card does

The Magical Needle attack removes two damage counters from a Benched Pokemon for just one Grass Energy.

The Cloak Scale attack deals 50 damage but requires three energies and only works if you have Wormadam Sandy Cloak in play.

Signature attack

Cloak Scale

If you have Wormadam Sandy Cloak in play, the Defending Pokémon is now Burned, Confused, and Poisoned. (50 damage)

This card helps keep your team healthy by healing damaged Pokemon on the bench. It can also weaken opponents with multiple status effects, but this power depends entirely on having a specific partner card.

  • Weak to Fire types
  • Requires specific partner card
  • High energy cost for damage
Pro tip

Use the cheaper attack to keep your bench safe while saving the stronger attack for when you have the right setup.

From the Pokédex

Wormadam changes its cloak based on the environment it evolved in, which is why different versions exist.
