Whiscash E4
Rotated OutA Fighting type that can put opponents to sleep but hurts its own team.
What this card does
The Sleep Pulse attack costs one Colorless energy and deals 10 damage while putting the defending Pokémon to sleep.
The Earthquake attack costs two Colorless and one Fighting energy for 60 damage but deals 10 damage to each of your own Benched Pokémon.
Earthquake
Does 10 damage to each of your Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) (60 damage)
This card offers a way to disrupt the opponent by forcing them to skip turns due to sleep. However you must weigh this benefit against the risk of damaging your own support Pokémon with its second attack.
Attacks
The Defending Pokémon is now Asleep.
Does 10 damage to each of your Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)
Which deck it belongs in
It suits aggressive Fighting decks that want to control the pace of the game. It works best when you have plenty of healing cards to protect your bench from Earthquake damage.
- •Disruptive sleep effect
- •Solid damage output
- •Basic Pokémon status
- •Hurts own bench
- •Grass weakness
- •High energy cost for second attack
Use Sleep Pulse when you need to stall the opponent rather than Earthquake unless you can heal your bench quickly.
Whiscash is known for causing earthquakes before they happen.
Explain to your child that using Earthquake is a trade off because it hurts both sides.
