ItemBeginner to play

What this card does

The opponent must switch their active Pokemon with one on the bench.

You also switch your own active Pokemon with one on the bench.

What it does

Warp Point

Your opponent switches 1 of his or her Defending Pokémon with 1 of his or her Benched Pokémon, if any. You switch 1 of your Active Pokémon with 1 of your Benched Pokémon, if any.

This card acts like a mutual trade of positions. It ensures both you and your child move a different Pokemon into the battle spot at the same time.

Which deck it belongs in

It suits decks that need to escape a dangerous situation or bring in a fresh attacker. It works well when either player has a weak active Pokemon.

Strengths
  • Mutual swap
  • Unpredictable
  • Escape option
Watch out for
  • Affects you too
  • Bench dependency
Pro tip

Check your bench first. Only use this card if you have a better Pokemon waiting on the bench than the one currently fighting.

Good to know

The name suggests a magical portal that transports things from one place to another instantly.

Note for the parent

Remember that your child must also swap their own Pokemon, so they cannot use it just to hurt the opponent without affecting themselves.
