Unown R
Rotated OutA utility card that helps shuffle energy around your bench.
What this card does
The RETIRE ability lets you discard this card and its attached energy to draw a new card once per turn.
The Hidden Power attack allows you to move basic Energy cards between your Pokémon freely.
RETIRE
Once during your turn, if Unown R is on your Bench, you may discard Unown R and all cards attached to it. (This doesn't count as a Knocked Out Pokémon.) Then, draw a card.
Unown R acts as a flexible support piece for your team. Its main value comes from the ability to remove itself from play to gain card advantage, or its attack to rearrange resources where they are needed most.
Attacks
Move any number of basic Energy cards attached to your Pokémon to your other Pokémon in any way you like.

Which deck it belongs in
This card suits decks that rely on moving energy quickly between attackers and bench Pokemon. It works well in control strategies where drawing extra cards is important.
- •Card draw
- •Energy flexibility
- •Bench support
- •Low HP of 60
- •Psychic weakness
- •One use per turn limit
Use the RETIRE ability to cycle through your deck when you need a specific card.
Unown resembles ancient symbols and is said to hold the key to the mysteries of the universe.
Explain to your child that discarding this card is a strategic choice to get a new card, not just losing it.
