What this card does

Can only be played if one of your Pokémon was knocked out during the opponent's last turn.

Both players shuffle their hands into their decks, then you draw 5 cards and the opponent draws only 2.

What it does

Unfair Stamp

You can't have more than 1 ACE SPEC card in your deck.

This is an ACE SPEC card, which means a deck is allowed only one ACE SPEC card in total, so it is a special once-per-deck pick. You may play it only right after the opponent knocks out one of your Pokémon. It then gives you a fresh hand of 5 cards while leaving the opponent with just 2, turning a bad moment into a strong one.

Which deck it belongs in

Best in decks that expect to lose a Pokémon and want a built-in way to fight back the very next turn.

Strengths
  • Turns a knocked-out Pokémon into a strong new hand
  • Leaves the opponent with a small hand, slowing them down
  • Costs no Energy and is a single card play
Watch out for
  • You can only play it after the opponent knocked out one of your Pokémon last turn
  • As an ACE SPEC, it uses up your only ACE SPEC slot for the whole deck

Pairs well with

Dragapult ex
Dragapult ex

A natural comeback deck that trades Pokémon, so the play condition comes up often.

Boss's Orders
Boss's Orders

A fresh 5-card hand makes it easier to find Boss's Orders and press your advantage.

Pro tip

Save it for a turn when refilling matters most, since you can use only one ACE SPEC in the entire deck.

Good to know

ACE SPEC cards are so strong that the rules allow only one in a sixty-card deck.

Note for the parent

This is a comeback card, so it feels worst for your child when it works against them. The trade-off is fair to learn because it can only be used after losing a Pokémon.
