Rotated Out

A risky Trainer card that heals your team but might put them to sleep.

TrainerBeginner to play

What this card does

Flip a coin to determine the outcome.

Heads removes damage counters from your Active Pokémon.

Tails puts your Active Pokémon to sleep.

What it does

Tropical Wind

Flip a coin. If heads, remove 2 damage counters from each Active Pokémon (remove 1 damage counter if a Pokémon has only 1). If tails, each Active Pokémon is now Asleep.

This card flips a coin to either heal or hinder your active Pokemon. If you get heads you remove damage, but if you get tails your pokemon falls asleep and cannot attack.

Which deck it belongs in

It suits decks that need to recover from heavy damage quickly. It works best when you can afford the risk of losing an attack turn.

Strengths
  • Healing potential
  • Quick recovery
  • Common rarity
Watch out for
  • Sleep risk
  • Coin flip chance
  • No control over outcome
Pro tip

Use this card only when your pokemon is already damaged and you need to stay in the game.

Good to know

Tropical winds are warm breezes that often carry the scent of flowers and salt.

Note for the parent

Explain to your child that this card is a gamble because it could stop their pokemon from fighting.
