Tremendous Bomb
A defensive tool that punishes heavy hits from powerful opponents.
What this card does
It attaches to your active Pokemon and stays there as long as it is a Mega Evolution Pokemon ex.
If that Pokemon takes 240 or more damage from an opponent's Mega Evolution Pokemon ex, you place 12 damage counters on the attacker.
Tremendous Bomb
If the Pokémon this card is attached to isn't a Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, is in the Active Spot, and takes 240 or more damage from an attack from your opponent's Mega Evolution Pokémon ex (even if this Pokémon is Knocked Out), place 12 damage counters on the Attacking Pokémon. If you placed any damage counters in this way, discard this card.
This card acts as a heavy counter to very strong attacks. It forces your opponent to lose significant health if they try to knock out your Mega Pokemon with a single powerful blow.
Which deck it belongs in
It fits best in decks built around Mega Evolution Pokemon ex that can survive big hits. You need a strategy that keeps your active Pokemon alive long enough to trigger the effect.
- •Punishes heavy attacks
- •Disrupts opponents
- •High damage return
- •Requires specific Pokemon type
- •Only triggers on Mega vs Mega
- •Card is discarded after use
Save this card for when the opponent plays their strongest Mega Evolution Pokemon ex to maximise the 12 damage counters.
The name suggests a massive explosion, which matches the high damage it can deal to attackers.
Explain to your child that this card only works if their Pokemon is a Mega Evolution Pokemon ex and takes exactly 240 or more damage from another Mega Evolution Pokemon ex.
