What this card does

The Stadium stays in play and affects the whole game.

Each player can draw two cards once per turn.

Using this effect requires discarding a Single Strike card from your hand.

What it does

Tower of Darkness

Once during each player's turn, that player may draw 2 cards. In order to use this effect, that player must discard a Single Strike card from their hand.

This card speeds up the game by letting both sides grab more resources. The catch is that you must lose a Single Strike Pokemon to gain those extra cards, so it works best when you have plenty of them to spare.

Which deck it belongs in

It fits well in decks built around the Single Strike mechanic. It helps keep your hand full without needing other draw support.

Strengths
  • Fast card advantage
  • Works for both players
  • Simple rule
Watch out for
  • Requires discarding a Pokemon
  • Only works with Single Strike cards
  • Helps your opponent too
Pro tip

Play it when you have extra Single Strike cards to burn, but be ready for your child to draw more cards as well.

Good to know

Stadium cards change the rules of the battlefield for everyone involved.

Note for the parent

Ask your child if they have enough Single Strike cards to afford the discard cost before playing it.
