Toucannon
A powerful Stage 2 attacker that grows stronger as the battle fills up.
What this card does
Toucannon is a Colorless Stage 2 Pokemon with 150 HP.
It has an ability called Aerial Draw that lets you draw one card once per turn.
It attacks with Feather Rondo for 60 damage plus 20 more for every Pokemon on the bench.
Aerial Draw
Once during your turn, you may use this Ability. Draw a card.
Feather Rondo deals extra damage based on how many Pokemon are sitting on the bench. This means the attack hits much harder when both players have multiple Pokemon in play.
Attacks
This attack does 20 more damage for each Benched Pokémon (both yours and your opponent's).
Abilities
Once during your turn, you may use this Ability. Draw a card.
Which deck it belongs in
This card suits decks that aim to fill the bench with many Pokemon quickly. It works best in strategies that rely on volume rather than single big hits.
- •High damage potential
- •Card draw ability
- •Low energy cost
- •Weak to Lightning attacks
- •Requires many Pokemon to shine
- •Stage 2 evolution needed
Place more Pokemon on the bench before attacking to maximise Feather Rondo's damage.
Toucannon fires seeds from its beak with enough force to crack steel plates.
Explain to your child that having more Pokemon on the bench helps Toucannon deal more damage.
