What this card does
The Steel Shelter stadium card removes all existing Special Conditions from your Metal Pokemon.
It also prevents any new Special Conditions from being applied to either player's Metal Pokemon.

Each Metal Pokémon (both yours and your opponent's) can't be affected by any Special Conditions. (Remove any Special Conditions affecting those Pokémon.)
This card creates a protective zone where Metal Pokemon cannot be poisoned, burned or paralyzed. It matters because it stops the opponent from using status effects to weaken your key attackers.
Which deck it belongs in
It suits decks built around Metal type Pokemon that rely on staying healthy to deal damage. It is less useful in decks that do not use Metal Pokemon.
