This protection applies to both players' Benched Pokemon.

This card stops all negative effects of attacks, such as paralysis or confusion, from reaching your Benched Pokemon. It also blocks damage to them, meaning they stay safe while your active Pokemon takes the hits.

It suits decks that rely on keeping their bench healthy for future turns. It is useful when you need to protect weaker support Pokemon from being knocked out by side effects.
