StadiumBeginner to play

What this card does

The card stays in play and affects the whole game.

When a player moves their Active Pokemon to the Bench, any basic Energy that would normally be thrown away goes straight back into their hand.

What it does

Skaters' Park

Whenever either player's Active Pokémon retreats, put any basic Energy that would be discarded into their hand instead of the discard pile.

This card stops energy from being wasted during retreats. It helps players keep their resources ready for the next turn instead of losing them.

Which deck it belongs in

It suits decks that move their Pokemon around often to avoid attacks or status conditions. It is also useful in games where energy management is critical.

Strengths
  • Resource retention
  • Flexible movement
  • Consistent support
Watch out for
  • Only affects basic energy
  • Depends on frequent retreats
Pro tip

Use this card when your child needs to switch out a tired Pokemon without losing their attack power.

Good to know

Stadium cards create a special rule that applies to both players for as long as the card is in play.

Note for the parent

Explain that this card makes retreating safer because your child will not lose the energy they just attached.
