A special energy card that links Fighting and Darkness types for extra damage.

Special EnergyBeginner to play

What this card does

This card provides both Fighting and Darkness Energy to a Single Strike Pokémon.

It adds 20 damage to the attached Pokémon's attacks.

What it does

Single Strike Energy

This card can only be attached to a Single Strike Pokémon. If this card is attached to anything other than a Single Strike Pokémon, discard this card. As long as this card is attached to a Pokémon, it provides Fighting and Darkness Energy but provides only 1 Energy at a time, and the attacks of the Pokémon this card is attached to do 20 more damage to your opponent's Active Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance).

Single Strike Energy acts as two energy cards in one, allowing your child to use either Fighting or Darkness type moves. It also boosts the power of those moves by 20 damage points, making them more likely to defeat the opponent.

Which deck it belongs in

This card is only useful for decks built around Single Strike Pokémon. It helps those specific cards hit harder and access two different energy types simultaneously.

Strengths
  • Dual energy type
  • Damage boost
  • Space efficient
Watch out for
  • Single Strike only
  • Misattachment risk
Pro tip

Check the Pokémon name before attaching this card to avoid discarding it by mistake.

Good to know

Single Strike Energy is a unique resource that bridges two elemental types for specific fighters.

Note for the parent
