Shiftry GX
Rotated OutA powerful Grass type Pokemon with a unique ability to remove an opponent's threat from play.
What this card does
It can confuse the opposing Pokemon with its Perplex attack for 40 damage.
It deals extra damage if both players hold the same number of cards in their hands.
It can shuffle an opponent's Pokemon and all attached items back into their deck.
Extrasensory
If you have the same number of cards in your hand as your opponent, this attack does 90 more damage. (90+ damage)
The Den of Iniquity GX attack allows you to choose one of your opponent's Pokemon and return it to their deck. This is a strong defensive move because it removes that threat from the battle entirely for a turn.
Attacks
Your opponent’s Active Pokémon is now Confused.
If you have the same number of cards in your hand as your opponent, this attack does 90 more damage.
Choose 1 of your opponent’s Pokémon. Your opponent shuffles that Pokémon and all cards attached to it into their deck. (You can’t use more than 1 GX attack in a game.)
Which deck it belongs in
This card suits decks that focus on controlling the board by removing key pieces. It works well in strategies that keep hand sizes balanced to maximise the Extrasensory attack.
- •Board control
- •High HP
- •Flexible damage
- •One GX per game limit
- •Fire weakness
- •Hand size dependency
Use the Extrasensory attack when you and your opponent have equal card counts to deal significant damage.
Shiftry is known for its sharp claws which it uses to tear apart trees in search of food.
Remind your child they can only use the GX attack once per game, so they should save it for a critical moment.
