Shadowy Darkness Energy
A special energy card that protects your bench Pokémon from damage.
What this card does
This card provides one Darkness Energy to the Pokémon it is attached to.
It also stops all damage from attacks if that Pokémon is on your Bench.
Shadowy Darkness Energy
As long as this card is attached to a Pokémon, it provides {D} Energy. As long as the {D} Pokémon this card is attached to is on your Bench, prevent all damage done to it by attacks from your opponent's Pokémon.
This card has a unique defensive rule. It keeps your Pokémon safe from harm while they are waiting on the Bench, rather than being in play.
Which deck it belongs in
It suits decks that rely on keeping multiple Pokémon safe on the Bench for later use.
- •Bench safety
- •Damage prevention
- •Energy provision
- •Inactive in battle
- •Single target only
Attach this to a powerful Pokémon you want to save for a later turn.
Darkness type Pokémon are often associated with mystery and stealth.
Remind your child that this protection only works if the card is attached and the Pokémon is not currently battling.
