Sea of Nothingness
Rotated OutThis Stadium card locks in special conditions so they stay put even when Pokemon change forms.
What this card does
The game stops removing status effects like paralysis or confusion when a Pokemon evolves.
This rule applies to both your own Pokemon and those controlled by your opponent.
Sea of Nothingness
Special Conditions are not removed when Pokémon (both yours and your opponent’s) evolve or devolve.
In normal play, evolving a Pokemon clears its bad status conditions. This card changes that rule so those conditions remain active regardless of evolution.
Which deck it belongs in
It suits decks that rely on keeping opponents weakened or unable to attack for several turns. It also helps strategies that benefit from maintaining their own positive conditions.
- •Persistent status effects
- •Disrupts opponent recovery
- •Unpredictable gameplay
- •Affects your own Pokemon too
- •Can hinder your strategy
- •Requires careful tracking
Use this card when you have a powerful attack ready to exploit an opponent who cannot use their abilities.
The Sea of Nothingness is a mysterious location in the Galar region with unique properties.
Check the Stadium area of the table before each turn to remember which rules are currently in effect.
