Ruins of Alph
Rotated OutA stadium card that removes defensive resistances from all Pokemon.
What this card does
This card stays in play until another Stadium card is played.
All Pokemon lose their Resistance effect while this card is active.
Ruins of Alph
This card stays in play when you play it. Discard this card if another Stadium card comes into play. If another card with the same name is in play, you can't play this card. Each Pokémon in play has no Resistance.
Ruins of Alph forces every Pokemon on the field to have no Resistance. This matters because it allows your attacks to deal damage more easily without being reduced by enemy defences.
Which deck it belongs in
This suits decks that rely on high damage attacks and want to bypass opponent defences. It works well in aggressive strategies where speed is key.
- •No Resistance effect
- •Simple play
- •Aggressive support
- •Replaced by other stadiums
- •Cannot copy itself
Play this early to weaken opponents before they can set up strong defences.
Ruins of Alph is an ancient archaeological site in the Johto region.
Remind your child that playing a second Stadium card will discard this one immediately.
