Rotom V
Rotated OutA fast Lightning type that trades its turn for a big burst of damage.
What this card does
It lets you draw three cards but ends your turn immediately.
It deals 40 base damage plus extra damage for each tool card sent to the Lost Zone.
Instant Charge
Once during your turn, you may draw 3 cards. If you use this Ability, your turn ends.
The Instant Charge ability gives your child more options by drawing cards, but it stops them from attacking that turn. The Scrap Short attack uses discarded items to deal heavy damage, rewarding players who have built up a supply of tools.
Attacks
Put any number of Pokémon Tool cards from your discard pile in the Lost Zone. This attack does 40 more damage for each card you put in the Lost Zone in this way.
Abilities
Once during your turn, you may draw 3 cards. If you use this Ability, your turn ends.
Which deck it belongs in
This card suits decks that focus on moving items to the Lost Zone for power. It works well in fast strategies where drawing extra cards is more valuable than attacking twice.
- •Card draw
- •High damage potential
- •Basic Pokémon
- •Ends turn early
- •Fighting weakness
Save the ability for when your child is low on cards, as it prevents them from using other attacks that round.
Rotom is known for possessing electronic devices and changing its form depending on which appliance it inhabits.
Explain that using the ability means their child cannot attack that round, so they should only use it when they need more cards.
