What this card does

Snatch and Run lets you find a Pokémon Tool or Rocket's Secret Machine card from your deck and switch Meowth to the bench.

Miraculous Comeback flips a coin for every Pokémon in play, dealing 10 damage for each head but also hurting Meowth for each tail.

Signature attack

Miraculous Comeback

Flip a coin for each Pokémon in play (both yours and your opponent's). This attack does 10 damage times the number of heads. Rocket's Meowth does 10 damage times the number of tails to itself. (10x damage)

This card uses chance to create big swings in the game. The first attack helps you find key items while moving Meowth out of harm's way, and the second attack can deal huge damage if luck is on your side.

Attacks

C
Snatch and Run

Search your deck for a Pokémon Tool card or Rocket's Secret Machine card, show it to your opponent, and put it into your hand. If you do, you may switch Rocket's Meowth with 1 of your Benched Pokémon. Shuffle your deck afterward.

CC

Which deck it belongs in

It suits decks that rely on Pokémon Tools or Rocket's Secret Machine cards for support. It also works in aggressive strategies where you want to take big risks for high rewards.

Strengths
  • Card search
  • High damage potential
  • Bench switching
Watch out for
  • Self-damage risk
  • Fighting weakness
Pro tip

Use Snatch and Run to find a healing Tool before using Miraculous Comeback to protect Meowth from its own self-inflicted damage.

From the Pokédex

Meowth is known for its greed and love of shiny objects, which fits perfectly with the card's ability to snatch items.

Note for the parent

Explain to your child that the second attack is risky because Meowth hurts itself if the coin flips come up tails.
