Rotated OutA risky but rewarding fighter that punishes opponents for hitting it.
What this card does
It has an ability called Strikes Back that puts 2 damage counters on any opponent who damages your active Hitmonchan ex.
It can attack a benched Pokémon with Mach Punch for 10 damage without applying weakness or resistance.
It can deal 60 damage with Magnum Punch if you have enough energy.

The Strikes Back ability turns the tables on attackers. If your opponent hits this card, they take 2 damage counters in return, even if your Hitmonchan ex is knocked out.
Attacks
Does 10 damage to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)
Abilities

Which deck it belongs in
This card suits aggressive decks that want to punish opponents for attacking their main fighter. It works best when you can protect it long enough to trigger its ability multiple times.
- •Punishes attackers
- •Hits benched targets
- •High damage output
- •Very fragile with only 100 HP
- •Requires specific energy types
- •Gives away 2 prizes on defeat
Use Mach Punch to weaken a benched Pokémon so it is easier for your other attackers to finish it off.
Hitmonchan has exceptional punching power and can deliver 1000 punches in two seconds.
Remember that because it is an ex card, your child gives up 2 prize cards if this Pokémon is knocked out.
