Radiant Charjabug
Rotated OutA tricky Radiant card that punishes opponents for powering up their strong Pokemon V.
What this card does
Shocking Block places two damage counters on any Pokemon V when an Energy is attached to it.
Linear Attack deals 30 damage to one of your opponent's Pokemon.
Shocking Block
Whenever any player attaches an Energy card from their hand to 1 of their Pokémon V, put 2 damage counters on that Pokémon.
The ability Shocking Block is the key feature here. It activates whenever either player attaches a Lightning Energy card to a Pokemon V, putting two damage counters on that specific Pokemon. This makes it difficult for opponents to build up their powerful V cards quickly.
Attacks
This attack does 30 damage to 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)
Abilities
Whenever any player attaches an Energy card from their hand to 1 of their Pokémon V, put 2 damage counters on that Pokémon.
Which deck it belongs in
This card fits well in decks that rely on attaching Lightning Energy to disrupt the opponent's strategy. It works best when you want to slow down your rival's big attacks rather than winning through sheer power.
- •Disrupts V Pokemon
- •Works against any player
- •Low energy cost
- •Only affects Pokemon V
- •Requires Lightning Energy
- •Weak to Fighting type
Use this card to force your opponent to choose between powering up their strong Pokemon or keeping it safe from damage.
Charjabug stores electricity in its body and evolves into Vikavolt when exposed to a Thunder Stone.
Explain to your child that this card is about control and timing rather than just dealing damage directly.
