What this card does
Attach this card to one of your Evolved Pokémon that does not already have a tool.
The attached Pokémon has no weakness while the tool is on it.
Discard the tool if it ends up on a Basic Pokémon or a Pokémon-ex.
Protective Orb
Attach Protective Orb to 1 of your Evolved Pokémon (excluding Pokémon-ex) that doesn't already have a Pokémon Tool attached to it. If the Pokémon Protective Orb is attached to is a Basic Pokémon or Pokémon-ex, discard Protective Orb. As long as Protective Orb is attached to a Pokémon, that Pokémon has no Weakness.
This Trainer card removes the weakness of an Evolved Pokémon. It matters because it stops opponents from dealing extra damage based on that weakness.

It suits decks built around strong Evolved Pokémon that usually have a glaring weakness. It helps protect your key attackers from being knocked out easily.
