Prime Catcher
Pulls up the opponent's bench without using your Supporter.
What this card does
It switches one of the opponent's Benched Pokémon into their Active Spot for you to target.
When it does, you also swap your own Active Pokémon with one from your bench.
Prime Catcher
You can't have more than 1 ACE SPEC card in your deck.
Prime Catcher drags a chosen Pokémon out of the opponent's bench and into the Active Spot, much like Boss's Orders. The difference is that it is an Item, so you can still play a Supporter on the same turn. As a bonus you also get to switch your own Active with a benched Pokémon.
Which deck it belongs in
It shines in decks like Dragapult ex that want to gust up targets and still use a draw or search Supporter the same turn.
- •Pulls up a chosen target like a gust effect.
- •It is an Item, so your Supporter stays free for the turn.
- •Also repositions your own Active Pokémon.
- •As an ACE SPEC, you can only run one in the whole deck.
- •Once used it is gone, so the timing matters.
Pairs well with
Gives the deck a second way to drag up targets across the game.
Lets Dragapult gust a target and still use a draw Supporter the same turn.
Save it for a turn when you also want a Supporter, since that double use is its real strength.
ACE SPEC cards are marked with a special rule, only one is allowed per deck because they are so strong.
This is an ACE SPEC card, which means a deck can only ever include one copy. Because it is an Item and not a Supporter, your child can use it and still play a Supporter in the same turn.
