StadiumBeginner to play

What this card does

The card stays in play as a Stadium effect.

During each player's turn they may discard three cards from the top of their deck.

If any of those discarded cards are Item cards, the player puts them into their hand.

What it does

PokéStop

Once during each player's turn, that player may discard 3 cards from the top of their deck. If a player discarded any Item cards in this way, they put those Item cards into their hand.

This card creates a shared search engine for Items. It matters because it helps players find specific support cards without relying solely on luck or other search effects.

Which deck it belongs in

It suits decks that rely heavily on Item cards to function. You will want several ways to protect this Stadium so your opponent cannot remove it easily.

Strengths
  • Consistent Item search
  • Affects both players
  • Uncommon rarity
Watch out for
  • Requires discarding three cards
  • Only finds Item cards
  • Can be removed by opponent
Pro tip

Use this card when your opponent is likely to discard Items too, turning their search into a shared benefit.

Good to know

PokéStops in the Pokémon GO game are real world locations where players can collect items.

Note for the parent

This is a Stadium card so it stays in play and affects both players until someone plays another Stadium or removes it.
