Pokémon Park

Rotated Out

A stadium card that heals benched Pokemon when energy is attached.

StadiumBeginner to play

What this card does

This card stays in play until another stadium card is played.

When a player attaches energy to a benched Pokemon, one damage counter is removed from it.

What it does

Pokémon Park

This card stays in play when you play it. Discard this card if another Stadium card comes into play. If another card with the same name is in play, you can't play this card. Once during each player's turn, when that player attaches an Energy card from his or her hand to 1 of his or her Benched Pokémon, he or she removes 1 damage counter from that Pokémon.

This card provides passive healing for the bench. It triggers automatically whenever energy is moved to a Pokemon that is not fighting, keeping them fresh for later turns.

Which deck it belongs in

It suits decks that rely on rotating many Pokemon onto the bench to attack over time. It works well in slower control strategies rather than fast aggressive ones.

Strengths
  • Bench sustain
  • Energy teamwork
  • Long game support
Watch out for
  • Replaced by other stadiums
  • No effect on active Pokemon
  • Requires energy attachment
Pro tip

Attach energy to your bench first to heal them before swapping the main attacker out.

Good to know

Stadium cards represent special locations that change the rules of the game for everyone.

Note for the parent

Remind your child that this only heals Pokemon on the bench, not the one currently battling.
