What this card does

Pheromosa GX has 170 HP and costs Grass energy to attack.

It can use Fast Raid for 30 damage only on your first turn if you go first.

Cruel Spike does 60 damage and confuses the opponent's active Pokemon.

Signature attack

Cruel Spike

Your opponent’s Active Pokémon is now Confused. (60 damage)

The key feature is Beauty GX which scales its damage based on how many prizes your opponent has collected. This means it becomes significantly more dangerous as the game progresses and your opponent gets closer to winning.

Beauty GX50×

This attack does 50 damage for each Prize card your opponent has taken. (You can’t use more than 1 GX attack in a game.)

Which deck it belongs in

This card suits aggressive decks that aim to secure the first turn quickly. It works best in strategies that can afford to take early hits while building up prize cards for its final attack.

Strengths
  • High potential damage
  • Confusion effect
  • First turn option
Watch out for
  • Weak to Fire types
  • One GX per game limit
  • Requires going first for Fast Raid
Pro tip

Use Fast Raid on turn one to gain early ground, then switch to building up prizes for a powerful Beauty GX finish later in the match.

From the Pokédex

Pheromosa is known as the Lifestream Pokemon and moves with such speed it appears as a blur.

Note for the parent

Your child will need to track how many prize cards their opponent has taken to calculate the damage of the GX attack correctly.
