Path to the Peak

Rotated Out

A powerful Stadium card that silences special abilities for both players.

What this card does

The game applies a rule where no Pokémon with a Rule Box can use their Abilities.

This affects both your side and your opponent's side equally.

What it does

Path to the Peak

Pokémon with a Rule Box in play (both yours and your opponent's) have no Abilities. (Pokémon V, Pokémon-GX, etc. have Rule Boxes.)

This card removes the unique powers of powerful Pokemon like V and GX versions. It levels the playing field by forcing everyone to rely on basic attacks instead of special effects.

Which deck it belongs in

It suits decks that want to stop an opponent from using strong abilities. It also works well if your own strategy does not depend on those silenced powers.

Strengths
  • Disables powerful effects
  • Fair for both sides
  • Prevents ability spam
Watch out for
  • Silences your own powers
  • Requires specific deck types
Pro tip

Check if your opponent's main win condition relies on a Rule Box ability before playing this card.

Good to know

Stadium cards represent locations that change the rules of the battle area for everyone.

Note for the parent

You can explain to your child that this card acts like a mute button for special moves, making the game more about basic attacks.
