SupporterBeginner to play

What this card does

You place this card next to your Active Pokémon when you play it.

You search your deck for up to two basic Energy cards and put them in your hand.

Alternatively you can search your discard pile for up to two basic Energy cards instead.

What it does

Mr. Stone's Project

You can play only one Supporter card each turn. When you play this card, put it next to your Active Pokémon. When your turn ends, discard this card. Search your deck for up to 2 basic Energy cards, show them to your opponent, and put them into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward. Or, search your discard pile for up to 2 basic Energy cards, show them to your opponent, and put them into your hand.

This card gives you a choice between finding fresh Energy from your deck or recycling used Energy from the bin. It matters because basic Energy is essential for attacking and having two options makes your strategy more reliable.

Which deck it belongs in

It suits decks that rely heavily on basic Energy to power their attacks. It works well in consistent strategies where you need to ensure you have enough resources each turn.

Strengths
  • Flexible search options
  • Recycles discarded Energy
  • Provides two cards at once
Watch out for
  • One Supporter per turn limit
  • Must shuffle deck if searching it
  • Requires showing cards to opponent
Pro tip

Use the discard pile option when your deck is low on Energy to save time and keep the game moving.

Note for the parent

Remember that you can only play one Supporter card per turn so this will use up your Supporter action for the round.
