Misty's Gyarados
A powerful water attacker that grows stronger by discarding cards.
What this card does
Misty's Gyarados has 180 hit points and evolves from Misty's Magikarp.
It can use Splashing Panic to deal damage based on how many of your other Misty Pokémon you discard.
It can also use Waterfall for a steady 120 damage if you have enough energy.
Waterfall

The key attack is called Splashing Panic. You discard the top seven cards of your deck and count how many are Misty Pokemon to decide the damage amount. This makes it very strong if your deck has many Misty cards.
Attacks
Discard the top 7 cards of your deck, and this attack does 70 damage for each Misty's Pokémon that you discarded in this way.
Which deck it belongs in
This card fits best in a deck built around the Misty trainer theme. It needs other Misty Pokemon to make its main attack useful.
- •High damage potential
- •Thematic teamwork
- •Good hit points
- •Weak to lightning attacks
- •Unpredictable damage
- •Requires specific deck build
Check the discarded cards after using Splashing Panic to count the Misty Pokemon accurately.
Gyarados is known for its violent nature and destructive power in the wild.
Your child will need to manage their deck carefully because they must discard seven cards each time they use the strong attack.
