What this card does

Mimikyu GX confuses the opposing Active Pokemon with its Perplex attack.

It deals extra damage based on the damage already on the target with Let's Snuggle & Fall.

It can remove a Benched Pokemon entirely by shuffling it back into the deck using Dream Fear GX.

Signature attack

Let’s Snuggle & Fall

This attack does 30 more damage for each damage counter on your opponent’s Active Pokémon. (10+ damage)

The key feature is Dream Fear GX, which forces your opponent to shuffle one of their Benched Pokemon away. This stops them from building up resources or setting up strong attackers on the bench.

Dream Fear GX

Choose 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon. Your opponent shuffles that Pokémon and all cards attached to it into their deck. (You can’t use more than 1 GX attack in a game.)

Which deck it belongs in

This card suits decks that want to control the board by removing threats. It works well in Fairy type strategies that rely on disrupting the opponent's plans.

Strengths
  • Board disruption
  • High damage potential
  • Unique removal power
Watch out for
  • One GX limit
  • Fairy energy cost
  • Confusion risk
Pro tip

Use Perplex to confuse a strong attacker before it can do major damage.

From the Pokédex

Mimikyu wears a tattered costume to disguise itself as Pikachu because it is lonely.

Note for the parent

Remind your child they can only use one GX attack per game, so they must choose carefully when to activate Dream Fear GX.
