Mega Lopunny & Jigglypuff GX
Rotated OutA high HP tag team that punishes opponents for using powerful cards.
What this card does
The Jumping Balloon attack deals extra damage based on how many GX or EX Pokémon your opponent has in play.
The Puffy Smashers GX attack puts the active Pokémon to sleep and can deal heavy damage to a benched Pokémon if you have enough energy attached.
Jumping Balloon
This attack does 60 more damage for each of your opponent’s Pokémon-GX and Pokémon-EX in play. (60+ damage)
This card rewards aggressive play by hitting harder when your opponent uses their strongest cards. It also offers control by putting the opposing leader to sleep, which stops them from attacking.
Attacks
This attack does 60 more damage for each of your opponent’s Pokémon-GX and Pokémon-EX in play.
Your opponent’s Active Pokémon is now Asleep. If this Pokémon has at least 4 extra Energy attached to it (in addition to this attack’s cost), this attack does 200 damage to 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) (You can’t use more than 1 GX attack in a game.)
Which deck it belongs in
It suits decks that want to disrupt the opponent's strategy while dealing significant damage. You need a way to attach energy quickly to make the second attack worthwhile.
- •High HP
- •Punishes GX decks
- •Disruption capability
- •Fighting weakness
- •Energy hungry
- •One time use
Save the GX attack for when you can attach four extra energy cards to hit a benched target safely.
Lopunny is known for its long ears and powerful legs, while Jigglypuff is famous for singing opponents to sleep.
Remind your child they can only use one GX attack per game, so they must choose carefully between the two options.
