Mega Gardevoir ex

Loads Energy across the bench, then hits harder the more it holds.

Psychic360 HPStage 2Advanced to play

What this card does

Uses Overflowing Wishes to search out a Basic Psychic Energy for each Benched Pokémon and attach it.

Swings with Mega Symphonia for 50 damage times every Psychic Energy on all of your Pokémon.

Signature attack

Mega Symphonia

This attack does 50 damage for each Psychic Energy attached to all of your Pokémon. (50× damage)

Mega Symphonia deals 50 damage for each Psychic Energy attached across your whole team. The more Energy you have built up, the bigger the hit. A board loaded by Overflowing Wishes can push this into very high numbers.

Attacks

Overflowing Wishes

For each of your Benched Pokémon, search your deck for a Basic Psychic Energy card and attach it to that Pokémon. Then, shuffle your deck.

Mega Symphonia50×

This attack does 50 damage for each Psychic Energy attached to all of your Pokémon.

Which deck it belongs in

This card is the centre of its own deck built entirely around stacking Psychic Energy and then unloading with Mega Symphonia. The whole team exists to feed its Energy count.

Strengths
  • Very high 360 HP makes it hard to knock out.
  • Damage scales up the longer the game goes.
  • Overflowing Wishes builds its own Energy for free from the deck.
Watch out for
  • A Mega Evolution Pokémon gives up three Prize cards when it is knocked out, so losing it hands the opponent a big lead.
  • It is a Stage 2, so it is slow to set up and needs Ralts and Kirlia first.
  • Damage is weak early before the Energy is stacked up.

Pairs well with

Rare Candy
Rare Candy

Lets you evolve from Ralts straight to the Mega, skipping the Kirlia step.

Basic Psychic Energy
Basic Psychic Energy

Every Energy attached raises Mega Symphonia's damage, so the deck wants plenty of it.

Pro tip

Spend an early turn on Overflowing Wishes to flood the bench with Energy, then move it onto the attacker so Mega Symphonia hits for as much as possible.

From the Pokédex

Gardevoir can sense the emotions of its trainer and will create a small black hole to protect them.

Note for the parent

As a Stage 2, your child needs to play Ralts, then Kirlia, then this card in order. A card called Rare Candy lets them skip the Kirlia step and evolve straight from Ralts, so they get there faster.
