Marshadow & Machamp GX
Rotated OutA durable Fighting type duo that survives one knockout and counters attacks from its last turn.
What this card does
It has 270 hit points to withstand strong hits.
The Revenge attack deals extra damage if a Pokémon was knocked out in the previous turn.
Hundred-Blows Impact is a steady 160 damage move.
Acme of Heroism GX
If this Pokémon has at least 1 extra Energy attached to it (in addition to this attack’s cost), and if it would be Knocked Out by damage from an opponent’s attack during their next turn, it is not Knocked Out, and its remaining HP becomes 10. (You can’t use more than 1 GX attack in a game.) (200 damage)
This card acts as a tank that can survive a fatal blow thanks to its GX ability. It also punishes opponents who knock out your other Pokémon by adding damage to its own attack.
Attacks
If any of your Pokémon were Knocked Out by damage from an opponent’s attack during their last turn, this attack does 90 more damage.
If this Pokémon has at least 1 extra Energy attached to it (in addition to this attack’s cost), and if it would be Knocked Out by damage from an opponent’s attack during their next turn, it is not Knocked Out, and its remaining HP becomes 10. (You can’t use more than 1 GX attack in a game.)
Which deck it belongs in
It suits aggressive Fighting decks that rely on knocking out opponent cards quickly. The deck should include ways to attach extra Energy to trigger the survival effect.
- •High durability
- •Counter damage
- •One-time survival
- •Weak to Psychic types
- •GX limit applies
- •Requires specific setup
Use the Revenge attack when your opponent has just knocked out one of your Pokémon for maximum effect.
Marshadow is known as the Stealth Pokemon and is said to appear only when no one is looking.
Remind your child they can only use the GX attack once per entire game, so save it for a critical moment.
