Lum Berry
A tool that clears status problems once per turn.
What this card does
The Lum Berry attaches to a Pokémon as a Tool card.
At the end of each turn, it checks for Special Conditions like paralysis or sleep.
If any are present, it removes them all and discards itself.
Lum Berry
At the end of each turn, if the Pokémon this card is attached to is affected by any Special Conditions, it recovers from all of them, and discard this card.
This card acts as a one-time reset button for your active Pokémon. It automatically cures any bad conditions at the end of the turn but is discarded after use so you must attach another to keep using it.
Which deck it belongs in
It suits decks that rely on keeping their main attacker healthy and active. You would include it when your strategy depends on avoiding paralysis or sleep disruption.
- •Removes all conditions
- •Automatic trigger
- •Protects active Pokémon
- •Discards after use
- •One time only
- •End of turn timing
Attach it before your opponent can inflict a condition to ensure the cure triggers at the end of that turn.
Lum Berries are known for their ability to heal any confusion or poison in the Pokémon world.
Explain to your child that this card disappears after it works, so they need to have a way to attach more Lum Berries if the game lasts many turns.
