Looker's Investigation

Rotated Out

A disruptive Supporter card that forces a hand swap.

SupporterBeginner to play

What this card does

You place this card next to your Active Pokémon when you play it.

It stays there until the end of your turn.

You look at what cards your opponent is holding.

What it does

Looker's Investigation

You can play only one Supporter card each turn. When you play this card, put it next to your Active Pokémon. When your turn ends, discard this card. Look at your opponent's hand, then choose you or your opponent. That player shuffles his or her hand into his or her deck and draws up to 5 cards.

This card lets you see your opponent's secrets before forcing a random shuffle. It matters because it can ruin their strategy by making them lose key cards or give you access to useful ones.

Which deck it belongs in

It suits decks that rely on disrupting the opponent's plans rather than building a steady attack. It is less useful in decks that need to keep specific cards in hand for later turns.

Strengths
  • Information gathering
  • Hand disruption
  • Card draw
Watch out for
  • One use per turn limit
  • Random outcome for shuffling
  • Discarded at turn end
Pro tip

Use this when your opponent has powerful cards in hand that you want to remove from play.

Good to know

Looker is a detective who travels the world solving crimes related to Pokemon.

Note for the parent

Remember that your child can only play one Supporter card per turn, so they must choose this carefully.
