Power up Darkness attackers fast.

SupporterIntermediate to play
Plays in: N's Zoroark ex

What this card does

Lets you pick up to 2 of your Darkness Pokémon and attach a Basic Darkness Energy to each from your deck.

If energy goes onto your Active Pokémon this way, that Pokémon becomes Poisoned.

What it does

Janine's Secret Art

Choose up to 2 of your Darkness Pokémon. For each of those Pokémon, search your deck for a Basic Darkness Energy card and attach it to that Pokémon. Then, shuffle your deck. If you attached Energy to your Active Pokémon in this way, it is now Poisoned.

You choose up to two of your Darkness Pokémon and search your deck for a Basic Darkness Energy for each, attaching it straight away. If one of those is your Active Pokémon, it ends up Poisoned. As a Supporter, you can play only one Supporter per turn.

Which deck it belongs in

Built for Darkness decks like N's Zoroark ex that want energy on the board quickly.

Strengths
  • Attaches up to two energy in one go.
  • Pulls energy directly from the deck, saving draws.
  • Sets up Darkness attackers a turn earlier than normal.
Watch out for
  • Poisoning your own Active Pokémon can hurt if you did not plan for it.
  • Only works with Darkness Pokémon and Basic Darkness Energy.

Pairs well with

Pecharunt ex
Pecharunt ex

Turns the self-poison into an upside, since poison-payoff cards reward a Poisoned Active Pokémon.

N's Zoroark ex
N's Zoroark ex

A Darkness attacker that benefits from fast energy attachment.

Pro tip

Attach to a Benched Pokémon to avoid the poison, or to your Active Pokémon on purpose when you have a poison payoff ready.

Good to know

A fast energy engine for Darkness decks, with a poison twist to manage.

Note for the parent

It speeds up Darkness attackers by pulling energy straight from the deck. The catch is that your own Active Pokémon can end up Poisoned, so it pays to plan which Pokémon to target.
