Holon Ruins
Rotated OutA Stadium card that lets you trade cards for discards if your opponent plays Delta Pokémon.
What this card does
This card stays in play until another Stadium card is played.
If your opponent has a Pokémon with the delta symbol, they may draw one card and then discard one card from their hand during their turn.
Holon Ruins
This card stays in play when you play it. Discard this card if another Stadium card comes into play. If another card with the same name is in play, you can't play this card. Each player that has any Pokémon in play that has δ on its card may draw a card once during his or her turn. If the player does, he or she discards a card from his or her hand.
The key feature is the exchange it triggers for players using Delta species. It allows them to refresh their hand by drawing a new card, but forces them to get rid of one as well.
Which deck it belongs in
This card fits decks built around Delta species Pokémon from the Delta Species set. It helps those players maintain card advantage at the cost of discarding.
- •Card refresh
- •Hand management
- •Stadium control
- •Replaced by other Stadiums
- •Forces discard
- •Only affects Delta users
Play this early to set up the effect, but remember it will be discarded if your opponent plays a different Stadium card.
Holon Ruins refers to the ancient ruins found in the Holon region of the Pokémon world.
Ask your child if they are playing with any cards that have a delta symbol, as this card only affects them.
