Special EnergyBeginner to play

What this card does

Holon Energy FF provides one Colorless Energy to attach to a Pokémon.

It removes the target's Weakness if a basic Fire Energy is also attached.

It ignores Resistance to damage if a basic Fighting Energy is also attached.

What it does

Holon Energy FF

Holon Energy FF provides Colorless Energy. If the Pokémon that Holon Energy FF is attached to also has a basic Fire Energy card attached to it, that Pokémon has no Weakness. If the Pokémon that Holon Energy FF is attached to also has a basic Fighting Energy card attached to it, damage done by that Pokémon's attack isn't affected by Resistance. Ignore these effects if Holon Energy FF is attached to Pokémon-ex.

This card acts as a protective or offensive modifier depending on your setup. By combining it with either a basic Fire or basic Fighting Energy, you can nullify an opponent's advantage against your Pokémon.

Which deck it belongs in

It suits decks that mix Colorless attacks with Fire or Fighting types to create powerful and resilient attackers.

Strengths
  • Removes Weakness
  • Ignores Resistance
  • Provides Colorless Energy
Watch out for
  • Ineffective on Pokémon-ex
  • Requires specific basic energies
  • Conditional effects
Pro tip

Attach it alongside a basic Fire or Fighting Energy to ensure your attacker is harder to defeat.

Good to know

In the games, Holon Energies are special items used by Team Magma and Team Aqua.

Note for the parent

Remember that this card has no effect if attached to a Pokémon-ex, so check the card type before playing it.
