Marnie's Grimmsnarl ex
Loads a stack of Energy in one go and hits the bench too.
What this card does
When it evolves from your hand, it pulls up to 5 Basic Darkness Energy from your deck and attaches them to your Marnie's Pokémon.
Its Shadow Bullet attack deals 180 to the Active Pokémon and 30 to one Benched Pokémon.
Punk Up
When you play this Pokémon from your hand to evolve 1 of your Pokémon during your turn, you may search your deck for up to 5 Basic Darkness Energy cards and attach them to your Marnie's Pokémon in any way you like. Then, shuffle your deck.
Punk Up triggers the moment you play this card from your hand to evolve into it. You search your deck for up to 5 Basic Darkness Energy and attach them across your Marnie's Pokémon. That single burst of Energy is what powers the whole Marnie's deck.
Attacks
This attack also does 30 damage to 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)
Abilities
When you play this Pokémon from your hand to evolve 1 of your Pokémon during your turn, you may search your deck for up to 5 Basic Darkness Energy cards and attach them to your Marnie's Pokémon in any way you like. Then, shuffle your deck.
Which deck it belongs in
It is the engine at the centre of its own Marnie's deck, fuelling the team with Energy and applying spread damage.
- •Attaches up to 5 Energy at once when it evolves.
- •Spreads damage by hitting the bench as well as the Active.
- •A big 320 HP body that anchors the deck.
- •As an ex it gives up 2 Prize cards when knocked out.
- •It is a Stage 2 that needs its pre-evolutions set up before it can land.
Pairs well with

Lets you evolve straight to the Stage 2 and trigger Punk Up sooner.

Punk Up searches these out, so a healthy count keeps the engine running.
Drags up a target so your spread damage finishes it off.
Hold a fresh hand of Energy in the deck rather than the discard, because Punk Up only pulls from the deck.
Grimmsnarl wraps opponents in its huge bundles of hair, squeezing with the force of a giant.
This is a Stage 2 card, so your child needs the earlier forms in play first (Marnie's Impidimp into Marnie's Morgrem), and Rare Candy can skip the middle step. Being an ex, it hands the opponent 2 Prize cards if it is knocked out, so it is a high value target.
