Heads lets you find a Pokémon and put it on top of your deck.

Tails lets you find a Trainer card and put it on top of your deck.

What it does

Good Rod

Flip a coin. If heads, search your discard pile for a Pokémon, show it to your opponent, and put it on top of your deck. If tails, search your discard pile for a Trainer card, show it to your opponent, and put it on top of your deck.

This card gives you a 50 per cent chance to recover a lost Pokémon or Trainer from your discard pile. You place the chosen card on top of your deck so you can draw it next turn.

Which deck it belongs in

It suits decks that rely on specific cards and need to recycle them quickly. It works well when you want to reduce the risk of running out of important resources.
