What this card does
The Invisible Tentacles ability forces your opponent to discard a card from their hand whenever they try to attack you.
The Darkness Lost attack deals 30 damage to all of your opponent's Pokemon at once.
If an opponent's Pokemon is knocked out by this attack, it goes to the Lost Zone instead of the discard pile.
Invisible Tentacles
Whenever your opponent's Pokémon tries to attack, your opponent discards 1 card from his or her hand. (If your opponent can't discard 1 card, your opponent's Pokémon can't attack.) You can't use more than 1 Invisible Tentacles Poké-Body each turn.
This card stops your child's opponent from attacking easily because they must keep discarding cards to do so. It also removes defeated Pokemon from the game entirely, which makes them harder to recover.
Attacks
This attack does 30 damage to each of your opponent's Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) If any of your opponent's Pokémon would be Knocked Out by damage from this attack, put that Pokémon and all cards attached to it in the Lost Zone instead of discarding it.
Abilities

Which deck it belongs in
It fits well in a deck that wants to control the pace of the game by limiting what the opponent can play. It works best when paired with cards that help manage the discard pile or protect Giratina.

Use the attack only when you are sure it will knock out a Pokemon, as the Lost Zone is very difficult to recover from.

Remind your child that the Lost Zone is a permanent removal zone, so they should use this attack carefully to ensure it actually knocks out a Pokemon.
