Giant Bomb
Rotated OutA temporary tool that punishes heavy hits against your active Pokemon.
What this card does
The Giant Bomb attaches to one of your Pokemon as a Tool card.
It stays attached until the end of your opponent's turn, when you must discard it.
If your Active Pokemon takes 180 or more damage from an attack, you place 10 damage counters on the attacker.
Giant Bomb
If this card is attached to 1 of your Pokémon, discard it at the end of your opponent’s turn. If the Pokémon this card is attached to is your Active Pokémon and takes 180 or more damage from an opponent’s attack (even if this Pokémon is Knocked Out), put 10 damage counters on the Attacking Pokémon.
This card acts as a high risk trap for your opponent. It forces them to think carefully before using their strongest moves because a heavy hit will hurt them just as much.
Which deck it belongs in
It suits aggressive decks that rely on dealing massive damage in single turns. You need a strategy that can survive or mitigate the cost of discarding the tool quickly.
- •High damage reflection
- •Uncommon rarity
- •Sudden impact
- •Short duration
- •Requires heavy damage
- •Must be discarded
Use this when you expect your opponent to use a powerful attack that deals at least 180 damage.
Giant Bomb is a Trainer card, so it represents an item used by the trainer rather than a creature itself.
Explain to your child that this card disappears after one turn, so it is only useful if they plan to take a big hit during that specific round.
