Gastrodon West Sea
Rotated OutA Fighting type Stage 1 Pokemon that deals heavy damage to multiple targets.
What this card does
Gastrodon West Sea has 110 HP and evolves from Shellos West Sea.
It can use Muddy Bomb to deal 30 damage to one Pokemon and 10 damage to all other opposing Pokemon.
It can use Raging Sea to deal 60 plus extra damage for each damaged Pokemon on your bench.
Raging Sea
Does 60 damage plus 10 more damage for each of your Benched Pokémon that has any damage counters on it. (60+ damage)
The Muddy Bomb attack is useful because it hits the opponent's entire team for small amounts of damage. The Raging Sea attack deals more damage if you have many damaged Pokemon waiting on your bench.
Attacks
Choose 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. This attack does 30 damage to that Pokémon and 10 damage to each of your opponent's other Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)
Does 60 damage plus 10 more damage for each of your Benched Pokémon that has any damage counters on it.
Which deck it belongs in
This card suits decks that focus on dealing damage to multiple targets at once. It works well in strategies that keep several Pokemon on the bench with damage counters.
- •Multi-target damage
- •Bench teamwork
- •High potential output
- •Weak to Grass types
- •Requires bench setup
- •High energy cost for big attacks
Use Muddy Bomb to clear out weak Pokemon on the bench before they can attack.
Gastrodon West Sea lives in the cold waters of the West Sea and has a distinctive spiral shell.
Check if your child's deck includes other Pokemon that can take damage easily to help power up the Raging Sea attack.
