What this card does

The Linear Attack deals 40 damage to a single target without being affected by weakness or resistance on the bench.

The Calamitous Slash deals heavy damage that increases by 80 if the target is already hurt.

The GG End GX attack discards an opponent's Pokemon and its attached cards, potentially removing two if you have extra Fighting Energy.

Signature attack

Calamitous Slash

If your opponent’s Active Pokémon already has any damage counters on it, this attack does 80 more damage. (160+ damage)

This card allows your child to discard one of their opponent's Pokemon entirely from the game. If they attach three extra Fighting Energy cards, they can remove two opposing Pokemon at once.

Attacks

Which deck it belongs in

It suits aggressive decks that focus on dealing lots of damage quickly and attaching multiple Energy cards to power up its special attack.

Strengths
  • High HP
  • Discard power
  • Heavy damage
Watch out for
  • Fairy weakness
  • One GX per game
  • Complex energy cost
Pro tip

Save the GX attack for when you have enough Fighting Energy attached to discard two Pokemon instead of just one.

From the Pokédex

Garchomp and Giratina are both Dragon type Pokemon known for their powerful appearances in the games.

Note for the parent

Check if your child has enough Fighting Energy cards in their deck to make the GX attack as powerful as possible.
