Froslass GL
Rotated OutA Water-type Froslass that disrupts opponents by putting them to sleep and switching their active Pokemon.
What this card does
Use Sleep Inducer to switch the opponent's active Pokemon with one on their bench and put it to sleep.
Use Wake-Up Slap to deal 30 or more damage if the target has special conditions, then remove those conditions.
Wake-Up Slap
If the Defending Pokémon is affected by any Special Conditions, this attack does 30 damage plus 20 more damage. Then, remove all Special Conditions from the Defending Pokémon. (30+ damage)
This card uses its first attack to force a weaker or less useful Pokemon into battle while putting it to sleep. Its second attack cleans up any remaining status effects and deals extra damage to Pokemon that are already affected by problems.
Attacks
Switch the Defending Pokémon with 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. The new Defending Pokémon is now Asleep.
If the Defending Pokémon is affected by any Special Conditions, this attack does 30 damage plus 20 more damage. Then, remove all Special Conditions from the Defending Pokémon.
Which deck it belongs in
It suits decks that want to control the pace of the game by forcing switches. It works well in strategies that rely on putting opponents' Pokemon to sleep or inflicting other special conditions.
- •Disrupts opponent's strategy
- •Removes status effects
- •Forces weak switches
- •Low 70 HP makes it fragile
- •Weak to Metal attacks
- •Requires specific conditions for full power
Use Sleep Inducer early to put a strong opponent Pokemon to sleep before they can attack.
Froslass is known as the Snow Land Pokemon and is said to appear when cold winds blow from the sky.
Explain that putting a Pokemon to sleep means it cannot attack for a turn, which is a key tactical advantage.
