What this card does
It uses Exploding Energy to find up to five Grass Energy cards and attach them to your Pokemon.
After using this ability, Forretress ex is Knocked Out immediately.
It has an attack called Guard Press that reduces damage taken during the opponent's next turn.
Exploding Energy
Once during your turn, you may search your deck for up to 5 Basic {G} Energy cards and attach them to your Pokémon in any way you like. Then, shuffle your deck. If you searched your deck in this way, this Pokémon is Knocked Out.
This card allows you to rapidly fill your bench with energy in exchange for losing Forretress. It matters because it helps you power up other Pokemon quickly, but you must be ready to lose this unit after just one use.
Attacks
During your opponent's next turn, this Pokémon takes 30 less damage from attacks (after applying Weakness and Resistance).
